Stakeholders Surveys

"To know the road ahead, ask those coming back."

- Chinese Proverb

"Anticipate the difficult by managing the easy."

- Lao Tsze (604 BC - 5331 BC)
"Allan Lowe & Associates’ work in designing and performing a Staff Survey for Mixcor definitely provided value for our organization. His presentation of the results to our Staff was well received and easy to understand. The background that he brings from working as a contractor, consultant, and association executive gives us confidence in his ability to understand the issues that we deal with every day."

- Gary Zeitner, MBA, R.E.T., General Manager, Mixcor Aggregates Inc.
Stakeholder research and surveys are a valuable tool to increase
organizations’ understanding of the knowledge, attitudes, and
opinions of their stakeholders.
Stakeholders Surveys

Allan Lowe & Associates makes extensive use of stakeholder research
and surveys to increase efficiency and success of meetings and workshops,
and also to enable client organizations to better understand the knowledge,
attitudes and opinions of their stakeholders, including staff, customers,
clients, and other stakeholders.
Increase Efficiency and Success of Meetings and Workshops
To increase the efficiency and success of meetings and workshops facilitated by Allan Lowe & Associates, online surveys are often conducted with participants prior to holding the meetings and workshops.

Construction Partnering

Online surveys are a valuable method of gathering information from key stakeholders prior to holding a construction partnering workshop. By conducting research prior to the workshop, key background information and stakeholder concerns can be gathered and sorted, ready to be addressed in the workshop. This also frees up valuable time in the workshop to spend on developing relationships and solutions for the project.

Facilitated Planning Workshops and Meetings

Stakeholder research, including online surveys of participants of strategic planning workshops and other meetings prior to holding the event provides valuable information to kick-start the event and to maximize the efficiency of the workshop.

Preliminary information on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, challenges, and other internal and external environmental information are gathered in a secure environment, and used to evaluate the current situation as well as to develop strategies to move the organization forward.

Stakeholder viewpoints and other information can also be gathered prior to holding a facilitated meeting.

This “pre-work” maximizes the efficiency and enables greater analysis during planning workshops and meetings.

A Proven Approach:

"Our involvement with Allan Lowe & Associates started with a Staff Survey. The survey and follow-up workshop resulted in a strategy for keeping our staff and increasing their satisfaction with the Alberta Construction Safety Association, making us their employer of choice."

-
Gary D. Wagar, Executive Director, Alberta Construction Safety Association

Prior to conducting stakeholder research and surveys, Allan Lowe & Associates works closely with the client to explore the purpose of the stakeholder research and the type of information needed to ensure a successful outcome. Based on this knowledge, a survey is then designed that includes optimum questions to achieve the desired results.

Once the information has been gathered, it is sorted and analyzed to provide key information that will meet the client’s identified needs. Surveys include a separate detailed report for management analysis and decision making, and may include, if desired, a report for the stakeholder participants.

Stakeholder surveys are typically conducted on-line, with follow-up conducted as necessary to achieve the desired response levels.
